Mune

The Mune (formerly called the Arc) is an electronic music interface that was designed to solve a couple major problems:

  • Current interfaces sit on a table and do not allow audiences to easily view the cause-and-effect relationship that a musician has with their music
  • Current interfaces do not allow many parameters to be expressively controlled at one time

In a collaboration between the Faculty of Engineering and the School of Music three 3D-printed prototypes were developed.

The Mune was then spun out to be fully commercialized through an upcoming crowdfunding campaign at www.munemusic.com.
